Bodegas Alto Moncayo is located in the windy, high-elevation, Campo de Borja D.O. Founded in 2002, the winery's mission is to produce world-class, benchmark-quality, old-vine Garnacha that expresses the unique terroir of this rugged region. The "Veraton," which is grown on vines 30-50 years old, is everything we love about the Garnacha grape: it's fuller-bodied and luxe with concentrated red and black fruit notes, minerality, and roasty, toasty oak spice on a finish that lingers and lingers.
